kcalIngredients
1 cup grassfed milk (dairy or your choice of non-dairy milk like almond, soy, or oat)
1/2 cup water
2 chai tea bags
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Grassfed heavy cream (for whipping)
A pinch of cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
Directions
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat, add the chai tea bags, and let steep for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags.
- In another saucepan, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Add the brewed chai tea to the pumpkin mixture. Stir in the vanilla extract. Continue to heat until the mixture is hot.
- For a frothy texture, you can use an immersion blender or transfer the mixture to a blender and blend for about 20 seconds.
- Whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
- Pour the pumpkin chai latte into mugs. Top with your freshly whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
Notes
- Enjoy your homemade pumpkin chai latte with the delightful addition of grassfed whipped cream for an extra touch of richness!
